I am a current sophomore at the University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics. I am also obtaining certificates in Computer Science and Applied Statistical Modeling; these rigorous courses will provide me with technical skills that complement my social science curriculum. Last summer, I worked on a small team at TreeFolks, a local tree-planting nonprofit, to help advance my personal value of sustainability through daily hands-on activity. I have also been heavily involved on campus in a diverse array of roles and organizations. This year, as a Project Management Intern for Project Advance Austin, I am looking forward to overseeing a budget, problem-solving with my peers, and coordinating with stakeholders to produce more public art near campus. I am also excited to work as a First Impressions Intern at the front desk of Texas Hillel, welcoming new students, educating them about Hillel resources, and creating a friendly, inclusive atmosphere. My long-term goal is to combine my passions for economics, policy, and sustainability through a consulting or government role, while continuously improving my technical skills.
