My time at Hastom was more versatile; I led the operations, oversaw marketing, farm management, hiring, coordinated web development, and most importantly, brought leadership to the team.OPERATIONS: When I joined Hastom in June, 2020, my priority was to ensure clarity of the company's Vision and Big Picture; and by the time I left, we were clear about the roles we wanted to play in FACILITATING the development of Nigeria's systems.I coordinated the improvement of the company's record keeping and processes by implementing QuickBooks for accounting; ClickUp for task management and CRM; automated a few tasks with Zapier; moved internal communications from WhatsApp to Slack for improved productivity; and created Job Descriptions for each role.Created Farm Reporting templates to improve reporting and ease management of the activities on each farm. Reduced farm management cost by increasing the size of leased farms, which will save more than $15,000 in weed management costs this year (2021).I hired about 10 people and outsourced 5 other projects. In cases I had to relieve people, all of them were happy with the way I handled the situation and are still in good terms.Overall, with the cooperation of the team, I improved Hastom's record keeping, structure, and processes.MARKETINGLed 4 marketing campaigns with 15 landing pages, more than 200 autoresponders/newsletters that generated about 3000 leads.Led social media and content writing, handled customer support, created brochures and MOUs for all products/services.Current website didn't serve its purpose, poor UI/UX and missing key plugins like analytics and pixel, we began developing an improved version. I oversaw more than 60% completion of the development.Under my leadership in the marketing team, we made over $200,000 in sales in less than 1 year.Overall, I gave direction, guidance, and was involved in the personal development of the team.

Being Ahmed's first employee, I had a great time at Odiggo. I had no experience or skill but was just willing to work hard. Learned a lot from Ahmed.With Ahmed's guidance, led the Data Management team to build the largest automotive replacement parts database in the MENA region.Researched and created the product-car fitment data structure, in line with Odiggo's goal to remove all the hassle of mobility and car maintenance.Also worked with the development team to ensure they built what our users wanted.
