My responsibilities as the Development Finanical Services Specialist included, but was not limited to: - Processing all donations in Raiser’s Edge timely and accurately, including cash/checks, credit card, ACH/Wire donations, payroll deductions, Web donations, stock gifts, matching gifts, and gifts in-kind. Minimum standard of 800 gifts/records processed per week on average. - Maintain and organize all audit batch files and assist with preparation of bank deposit, updating Cash Handling Units database, and reconciliation of financial queries. Assist with daily and monthly reconciliations to the General ledger. - Assist with the maintenance of database integrity – including identifying and merging duplicate records, moving gifts out of holding in a timely manner, creating new donor records with accurate data.- Facilitate the tax receipting of all gifts by type accurately, efficiently and timely. Review receipts for accuracy.

Just some of the many tasks I managed are listed below. Data Processing and Analysis - Process donations, sponsorships, and fee payments and batch gifts into the Raiser’s Edge database, ensuring proper financial mapping - Reconcile all credit transactions entered in the database with Excel reports pulled from credit card processors like Authorize.Net, Blackbaud, and WePay. - Run data reports and queries based on specified criteria and conduct data analysis to support marketing and media departments with fundraising efforts - Conduct information imports using extensive Excel reports from ancillary applications such as Luminate, RallyBound, and Counterpoint, into Raiser’s Edge using Import-O-Matic and identify any mapping issues - Run query lists based on specific criteria for event invitations and acknowledgmentsManagement - Schedule and train volunteers and interns - Manage the dog training program by acting as liaison for all customer inquiries, monitoring schedule, adjusting registrations, processing payments and refunds, and completing bi-weekly commission report for the trainers - Manage vehicle donation program and work with partner, Insurance Auto Auctions, to provide timely, efficient serviceCustomer Service - Provide support for answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls, while adhering to high-level customer service standards - Assist with donor thank-you calls and acknowledgement letters as assigned

I assisted the Athletic Events Team with planning, executing and maintaining PAWS Chicago’s Run for Their Lives Run/Walk and TEAM PAWS programs. The 2015 Run for Their Lives Run/Walk attracted over 3,000 people and raised over $430,000 for PAWS (up 19% from the last year). I was so grateful to be apart of organizing such a wonderful event. Responsibilities I had included:- Responding to incoming inquiries about the events or participant questions- Proof read marketing materials and web copy- Assist with the creation of event proposals, sponsorship contracts, social media posts, email campaigns, and more- Track media coverage of events and performance- Following up with fundraisers on their event goals and payment collection- Coordinate fundraising and team materials to registered participants- Aid in the final stages of securing event sponsors and magazine advertisers to include invoice creation, recap decks, thank you notes, etc.- Benchmark and collect competitive industry events and best practices- Entering events prospects into the donor database
