Irradiant has developed a process to pattern large refractive index gradients in arbitrary 3D geometries down to 50 nm feature sizes. This process has a wide variety of applications in photonics and optics, including optical telecom, endoscopes, photonic computing, and more.

Graduate student in the Aizenberg lab doing research on adaptive materials systems using stimuli-responsive hydrogels. I specifically focused on nonlinear optical dynamics and pattern formation in light-responsive, spiropyran-functionalized hydrogels.

I was primarily responsible for the mechanical design and prototyping, DFMA, as well as the web and smartphone software. I worked on R&D of a novel high-voltage lithium ion battery technology as well as electrolyzer and oxygen concentrator systems for aerospace applications.

Helped create a high vacuum bell jar set up for running experiments on metal distillation.

Primarily ran the CVD reactors; measured and logged experiments. Cold-called other companies to learn information and to market our products, prepared and sent samples to interested parties.
