Reporting to the CEO and responsible for all product design, managing the Engineering department of 40 Engineers, and managing product costs of over $5 million per year.• Member of founding management team that transitioned the company from consulting to OEM to standard products during my three management positions. This enabled the company to grow 30X to over $11 million in annual sales without using external funding. • Enjoyed working with CEO, CFO, Marketing, Sales, and Manufacturing to make sure the company’s objectives were met.• Transitioned to standard products by focusing the Engineering department on a new emerging market of protein crystallography (forecasted to $100 million) and became a world leader by developing and introducing to the market 17 new products that integrated and consolidated the crystallography process into one system. These products were successfully sold and shipped to Pfizer, Novartis, Structural Genomics, Scripps and most of the Structural Protein Consortiums around the world.• Successfully introduced the CrystalMation product line at the ACA trade show in a six month period. I provided leadership for this huge R&D push that positioned the company above the competition by introducing a complete solution. This project that involved over 25,000 man hours of Engineering in developing products in this $1 million system and I led this challenge by installing and reinforcing the company’s foundation of culture, values, internal communications, processes, procedures, and ISO 9001 to keep the project on track and growth under control.• Prepared company to be sold by writing the company prospectus on the product development and Engineering department issues and worked with potential buyers during the sale of the company.

In charge of mechanical design, and coordinated efforts of electrical design, software design.• Successfully managed several $1 million+ systems for Viggo Spectromed, Boehringer Mannheim, and ICU all medical device assembly systems.• Built 6 medical assembly machines conforming to GMP standards and FDA validation.

World leader and owns over 50% of the market in design and manufacturing of yacht racing sails.Mechanical EngineerReporting to the Division leader and the VP of Operations.• Developed a computer controlled X-Y plotting, CO² laser cutting system, used to plot and cut industrial fabrics and setup a production facility to build the systems.• Successfully built and installed 24 sail cutting systems around the world from Finland to Sri Lanka to give the company a technological advantage over competition that included a 10 fold in accuracy (+/- 0.1mm) of assembled sails over their competitors.
