Served as substitute teacher at Laredo ISD, United ISD, Flour Bluff ISD, West Oso ISD, San Marcos CISD, and Hays CISD for K-12 students attending at risk schools.

Acted as the head enumerator overseeing a team of six Census takers who visited households that had not yet completed the questionnaire. Issued assignments, provided data collection training, and managed the storage and distribution of surveys.

Developed summer programs for farm workers' children in grades K-6. Taught lessons in both English and Spanish, emphasizing science, reading, math, and social and culinary skills. The sessions took place at the Si Se Puede! Learning Centers overseen by the United Farm Workers of America.
