These projects encompassed the construction of permanent bridges and causeway topside works, the design and construction of marine jetties, coastal village land raising, and the creation of a crucial quay wall in the Shura Island Marina area, with a substantial budget of 257 million USD.In my role, I successfully negotiated with clients and demonstrated concurrency to secure compensable days for various projects, contributing to the approval of Extension of Time (EOT) claims and supporting project timelines. I also played a key role in assessing project schedules, identifying potential delays and risks, and working to mitigate them. Regular stakeholder meetings ensured the consistent achievement of project milestones, while I maintained meticulous project records and documentation, including EOT claims and change orders, to support project success. Additionally, I provided guidance and mentorship to junior project team members to help them understand project management best practices and procedures.

In my role managing the SECON Nile Towers project, I proactively handled the interface with the civil contractor by identifying potential delay events and successfully securing Extension of Time (EOT) claims. Additionally, I conducted regular progress and performance evaluations to assess project status and identify areas for improvement. My responsibilities included presenting project progress and performance data to executive leadership, contributing to informed decision-making and strategic planning. I also played a key role in maintaining meticulous project records and documentation, including EOT claims, change orders, and other project-related documents.The SECON Nile Towers project, with a budget of 183 million USD, represents a remarkable addition to the Nile River skyline. It features twin 23-story towers, with one housing a five-star hotel and the other offering upscale residences. Complementing the development is a retail tower, ensuring a luxurious lifestyle and shopping experience, all set against the backdrop of stunning Nile views.

The Canal Sugar Beet Sugar Factory, a cutting-edge beet sugar facility with a substantial budget of 360 million USD, stands as a remarkable leap in sugar production and refining capabilities. This facility boasts a daily reception capacity of 48,000 tons of sugar beets and a slicing capacity of 36,000 tons, generating 5,700 tons of white sugar daily during the beet season. Furthermore, during the off-beet season, the integrated raw sugar refining facility produces an additional 3,000 tons of white sugar daily.As a Senior Planning Engineer, I led a team of 2 planners for the 360 million USD Fast Track Beet Sugar Factory Project. My responsibilities included implementing Project Management Office (PMO) processes to ensure efficient project execution and adherence to best practices. I reviewed the contractor's baseline schedule to ensure it conformed to project scope, specifications, and other contractual requirements. I also analyzed contractor performance through updated programs to identify and address progress concerns or anticipated issues. Additionally, I prepared various periodic reports, including progress curves, trends, forecasts, and resource histograms, along with expenditure forecast reports. I reviewed submitted extension of time claims by contractors and successfully created a project progress measurement system, integrated contractors and consultant engineering schedules into a master integrated schedule, and developed a Project Dashboard.

Cairo West Air Base, Cairo, Egypt, was a crucial facility controlled by the Egyptian Air Force (EAF) and was part of the Peace Vector VII FMS program, providing support for F-16 aircraft. Package C of this program had a construction value of approximately $14 million. I played a key role in this project, which involved a site visit charrette in Cairo, Egypt, with various stakeholders, including USAF AFMC AFLCMC/WFMC, USACE-TAM, EAF, and the Stanley Consultants planning and design team.In my role as a Senior Planning Engineer for the "Peace Vector VII Package C" project, I was entrusted with several critical responsibilities. I developed comprehensive tender schedules and planning packages, including program outlines, narratives, manpower and equipment deployment schedules, and financial projections. I managed project schedules by collecting and analyzing data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project timelines. When activities fell out of sequence, I prepared revised schedules to maintain project progress. I also prepared extension of time claims, using the Time Impact Analysis (TIA) method in compliance with contract requirements, contributing to efficient project management and dispute resolution.

As a Planning Engineer, I've been involved in a diverse array of projects, each presenting its unique challenges and opportunities. Notably, I contributed to the restoration of U.S. Naval Medical Research Unit No. 3 (NAMRU-3) buildings 60 and 50, where precision and compliance with U.S. Corps of Engineers specifications were crucial. I was also part of the team responsible for the construction of a new mooring dolphin at Dekheila Port in Alexandria, Egypt. Furthermore, my experience extended to the Sidi Krir Power Station project, specifically involving the Shoreline Outfall Structure.My responsibilities encompassed several critical areas of project management. I meticulously prepared and maintained detailed cost and resource-loaded schedules for all projects, adhering to stringent U.S. Corps of Engineers specifications. These schedules were essential in tracking project progress and ensuring timely completion. Additionally, I played a key role in generating control documents, including rolling forecast reports, work executed and certified reports, material control reports, and project key performance indicators (KPIs), all of which contributed to effective project monitoring and financial management.
