o Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.o Strive for harmony and teamwork with all other departments.o Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the service department.o Attend manager’s meetings as requested.o Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affects service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal right-to-know.o Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all service department staff.o Direct and schedule the activities of all department employees.o Provide technical assistance to employees as needed.o Conduct meetings with department employees to discuss activities and problems of mutual interest.o Monitor technicians; payroll records.

Duties· Promotion of vehicles in a defined territory· Provision of territory forecast volumes for territory implementation of marketing strategies in the territories to ensure achievement of sales and marketing strategies.· Duties will involve generation of relevant reports on all activities

o Periodic maintenance supervision.o Troubleshooting dealing with Star diagnosis.o Fault diagnosis for all vehicles systems (mechanical-electrical-AC).o Dealing with Mercedes-Benz software (WIS, EPC, DAS, Xentry, SD-media)

o Receive customers and their vehicles in a friendly and professional manner, discuss and confirm their requirements and take responsibility for the vehicle during its time at the Retailer.o Confirming of problems symptoms with customer at reception processo Clearly write down the problem symptoms in the dedicated area on Repair Ordero Liaise effectively with the Customer Appointments Controller and Parts Department.o Involved in diagnosis for sophisticated symptomso Monitoring the technicians during repairso Ensure that proper use is made of technical information and that it is maintained up to date.o Ensure that the authorization of warranty and goodwill is given strictly in accordance with the manufacturers programo Ensure all relevant warranty parts are cleaned, drained and returned to the Parts Dept.o Clearly write down all diagnostics results on the repair ordero Communication with Technical Support Department in cases of stop process
