Duties included technically leading the project activities to satisfy the engineering work program within the indicated time and budget; maintaining liaison between all personnel assigned to the project; assisting in the preparation of the Basis of Design Report (BODR) of the project including; data collection, identification of problem areas, conceptual and preliminary engineering, specifications outline and project’s preliminary cost estimates; gathering and disseminating project data and information to all concerned parties; coordinating and resolving technical problems including non-conformance to project specifications or engineering standards; assisting the Project Manager to conduct project review meetings involving any or all technical disciplines assigned to the project team.

Khalifa Stadium is the leading arena in Qatar and the heart of Doha's largest sports education center, originally built in 1976. With Qatar being announced host of the 2022 World Cup; the venue is to be dramatically transformed with a single roof canopy enveloping the structure and facilitating the innovative outdoor cooling of complete Stadium. The renovation embraces revamping the set to encompass a seating capacity of 40,000 and become fully compliant with FIFA’s stadium requirements. The development includes a new building added to the stadium’s east wing, comprising the Qatar Olympic & Sports Museum, an institution that includes historic sport collections and interactive exhibits.
