Amr Aboualam is an accomplished Engineer, seasoned Director, and serial Entrepreneur with a rich history of founding and co-founding successful ventures across various industries. Since graduating from the Faculty of Engineering at Alexandria University in Egypt in 1995, Amr has been at the forefront of driving innovation and business growth.In 2013, Amr established LOTUS Management and Consulting, pioneering local specialized services in Real Estate consulting, market studies, transaction representation, and the creation and management of real estate portfolios and funds. His expertise spans commercial, retail, logistics, and mixed-use assets, positioning LOTUS as a leader in the Egyptian market. Currently serving as Chairman and CEO of LOTUS Management, Amr also holds positions as Non-Executive Chairman and Board member in several esteemed companies and NGOs.Prior to LOTUS, Amr served as CEO of The Smart Villages Company (SVC) starting in 2007, where he played a pivotal role in developing Egypt’s premier CIT Cluster and Financial Business Park, The Smart Village. Under his leadership, SVC flourished, accommodating tens of thousands of professionals, and providing top-tier management consulting services locally and regionally.Amr's entrepreneurial journey began in 1995 when he co-founded Soficom Communications, one of the pioneering ISPs in the MENA Region. As its leader, he propelled Soficom to become one of Egypt's largest Internet service providers before its successful sale in 2001. Subsequently, Amr joined the Egyptian Company for Networks, where he directed strategies and business planning for EgyNet, the first privately owned Public Data Network in Egypt and the Region, until 2007.With a track record of strategic vision and operational excellence, Amr Aboualam continues to drive innovation and create lasting impact in the business landscape of Egypt and beyond.
