I am currently working at Caspian Innovation Center LLC (Department of Industrial Solutions). Caspian Innovation Center is a joint venture established in 2017 between SOCAR, the global brand of Azerbaijan, and IBM, one of the world's largest IT companies. The purpose of establishing the company is to contribute to the development of our economy by successfully implementing the process of digital transformation in our country and in the regions outside the country. One of the main activities of the company are the application of various types of software by setting roadmaps in the field of business transformation, building Business Resource Planning platforms on SAP.Our department primary mission is to lead the charge in optimizing and automating processes within SOCAR and its associated entities. Utilizing both SAP and non-SAP software solutions, we aim to facilitate digital transformation across the organization.In my role, I am pivotal in analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and designing SAP solutions that augment operational efficiency and streamline workflows. My responsibilities also encompass ensuring the smooth integration of SAP solutions with existing systems, offering training and support to end-users, and tirelessly pursuing the most innovative and effective strategies to advance our digital transformation goals.

One of the main activities of the company are the application of various types of software by setting roadmaps in the field of business transformation, building Business Resource Planning platforms on SAP.I worked on 2 modules of SAP related to SOCAR in the Industrial solutions department of the company. I would like to tell you about them :The SAP UFAM solution compromises four functional units: integrated analysis, integrated planning, integrated solutions, and monitoring, on top of this it offers integration interfaces to third party systems. The purpose of the solution is to increase the efficiency of asset operation by implementing a decision making support system. Objectives are loss reduction, system optimization, operation cost reduction, equipment operation cost reduction and production increase. Examples outcomes of the project :-Prompt response to emergency situations-Increase of control over measures for conformity with plans-Optimization of reservoir stimulation methods-Product process asset management optimization-Increase of planning accuracy and speed, schedule optimization-Forecasting of well equipment failuresThe SAP UOM module is a module related to the improvement and accuracy of oil and gas production accounting, as well as the organization of operational accounting and reporting for each well.
