After 44 years in the world of audit and accountancy, I have retired from the profession and am now focussed on my main passion, that of an executive coach. We all have our own values and beliefs which drive our thinking and in turn, our behaviours. Imagine what impact changes to your thinking could have! As a coach, I come with an open mind and no preconceived ideas. My approach is to build trust through being open and honest about myself, building rapport and being totally committed to the process.I spent the last 18 years as an Audit Director at Grant Thornton with both a client facing and leadership role, applying my coaching and mentoring skills in everyday interactions. I have gained a wealth of experience in the profession as a business advisor. Both my own background and involvement in international assignments have heightened my awareness of cultural nuances and appreciation of different perspectives.I am a qualified coach accredited with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council as a practitioner coach, and have coached internally at Grant Thornton and externally for over 8 years.I am married with three grown up children and am a grandad. Other than family and coaching, my other passions are Tottenham Hotspur and 70's rock music.
