Project 1: Assay DevelopmentResponsibilities include:• Development of ELISA kits by performing Sandwich ELISAs.• Trouble shooting and optimizing for gaining best signal in ELISA.• Testing sensitivity, stability and specificity of the ELISA kit.• Culturing cells and drug treatments on to them for testing the presence of a particular antigen for ELISA.• Handling of a kit development end to end.• Regular updating of data onto tracker. • Presentation of data.Project 2: Primary Antibody DevelopmentResponsibilities include:• Creating road map: Proposing possible targets against which an antibody can be designed through an array of literature search. • Making validation plan: Designing experiments for each target against which an antibody is being designed. • Secondary screening of prospective antibodies through western blotting.• Analyzing data and deciding on progressing or dropping a given antibody. • Regular updating of data onto tracker. • Presentation of data.
