I am a biochemist skilled in molecular & cell biology and protein chemistry with extensive experience of working in DNA repair. Over the past decade, I've been teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in Biotechnology programs and have provided them with experiences beyond learning including research, networking, internships, and placements. I have also managed postdoctoral and supported graduated fellowship programs in neuroscience and aging at the National Institute on Aging (NIH) bringing several new initiatives to the program. I have a demonstrated history of working in the higher education, government and collaboration with industry partners. I also serve in several state-wide conferences and organizations in leadership roles as well as serve as a member of several advisory boards in educational institutions and programs.
