Amrita Bhowmick, MPH, MBA, EdD is Chief Strategy Officer at Health Union where she combines business acumen and public health expertise to guide Health Union’s strategic approaches to community cultivation, business growth, and talent development, helping the organization evolve with the changing needs of its members and its customers. Topics range from patient perceptions around treatment effectiveness, cost of care, quality of life, to how changes in the behaviors of companion dogs might be used to predict impending migraine episodes. ► Translating large-scale, diverse dialogue with patients into real insights that fuel ongoing relationships and continuously working to cultivate Health Union’s growing family of chronic-condition communities – including MultipleSclerosis.net, Blood-Cancer.com and Type2Diabetes.com – with more slated to launch in coming years. These communities touch more than 10 million people each month via web and social media interactions. -
