Entrepreneurship Cell (E Cell) IIT Kharagpur is a not for profit students run body aimed to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship in India. It is the most active E Cell in the country. I have been handling the mentoring and arranging for pitching for various start ups working in the social sector. Started and Internship Portal to provide some social enterprise with interns from IIT Kharagpur. Organized various events and workshop to promote social entrepreneurship in India which saw participation of numerous Ashoka Fellows.

Was responsible for mapping various investor circles present around the globe and developing various potential investee and associations database .

FICCI is an association of business organizations in India, established by GD Birla on advice of Mahatma Gandhi. I was responsible for mapping the incremental innovations in India and innovation capacity of various SMEs and grassroot innovators. The suggestions were sent to Govt of India for implementing Utility Model (an intellectual protection parallel to patent system) in India.

Technology Students’ Gymkhana (TSG) is the student body of IIT Kharagpur. Was elected the Secretary, Technology for the academic session 2010-2011 by highest number of votes. Organized various events and workshops to promote technological exchange between Industry and students. The structure and quality of participation was highly appreciated by experts from Industry.

SammaaN is India’s largest chain of rickshaw pullers, with more tha 500,000 rickshaw pullers associated with it. Worked directly under Mr Irfan Alam, Founder SammaaN and an Ashoka Fellow. Was responsible for on ground survey for health and housing for all project. Developed pilot medical camps and still working on various projects while being on campus.
