I am an experienced c-suite executive and NED with extensive strategic, operations, pricing, sales & marketing expertise. I started my career as a Biomedical Engineer designing implantable medical devices followed by Management Consulting across retail, construction and financial services. During my 10 year tenure at eBay Australia I worked my way up from an entry level role to becoming the COO and CMO and sitting on the executive leadership team. I am also an independent Non-Executive Director on the board of Audinate (ASX:AD8), Somnomed (ASX:SOM) and the non-profit Vision Beyond Aus. I love solving problems and delivering strong results. Throughout my time at eBay I have developed diverse skills from strategy to execution, building teams from scratch, and delivering strong results from large established teams. During my role as Chief Operating and Marketing Officer I had a number of big wins such as driving a turnaround in our sales team to deliver a 3-fold increase in small business acquisitions, leading the Advertising team to double YoY revenue growth, delivering a double digit step change in Marketing ROI while still exiting 2019 with the highest sales in our 20 yr history by capturing >12m Aussie shoppers. Prior to that I had extensive B2B experience having started the Small and Medium Business team which was responsible for acquiring and scaling the 40,000 businesses on eBay.I care a lot about people and helping people grow and succeed regardless of background, gender or age. I have world class employee engagement scores and focus on enabling people across the organisation to drive trust with one another hence creating a safe work environment. Personally, I have developed quickly, from a young age and as a mother of 2 boys. At 23, I was amongst the youngest to be admitted to Harvard Business School to complete my MBA. At age 31, I was the youngest Director at eBay Australia and was appointed to the Executive Leadership Team. I received the Australian Financial Review award as Young Executive of the Year in 2019. By 33, I was the COO at eBay and extended my role as CMO before 35. I’m on the board of two publicly listed businesses and have been able to continue to deliver high performance despite the balance of being a mother. This balance has helped me guide other young leaders, females and mothers striving to succeed in the workplace.
