Supervisor: Dr. B.R. Lakshmi (Affiliated to Muscular Dystrophy Association, India)I performed carrier analysis on 100 blood samples by using DNA extraction and subsequent multiplex PCR analysis andconstruction of pedigree charts. I also compiled a booklet containing information on hereditary diseases and the genetics behind Muscular Dystrophy and created a database of patient-information collected from genetic screening camps across the state.

Supervisor: Dr. R.S. VermaI assisted Post-graduate students in identifying folic acid receptors and their defects which are responsible for birthabnormalities such as Spina bifida and cleft lip palate. I performed DNA and RNA extraction and PCR on blood samples and analyzed the results.

I was responsible for communication campaigns and improving the branding and recognition of AIESEC-Monash in andoutside of the Monash campus. I organized several recruitment events and surveys at the Monash campus. I attended theAIESEC Victoria State Conference and received training in personal development and leadership skills.
