Current• Oversee and coordinate the activities of the Accounts division to ensure the efficient and effective handling of all financial responsibilities• Verify the accuracy of information within financial reports and ensure compliance with statutory requirements• Manage day-to-day financial transactions for the company• Maintain organized electronic accounts records• Hold accountable for the daily funds and receivables positions, reporting directly to the board of directors •… Show more • Oversee and coordinate the activities of the Accounts division to ensure the efficient and effective handling of all financial responsibilities• Verify the accuracy of information within financial reports and ensure compliance with statutory requirements• Manage day-to-day financial transactions for the company• Maintain organized electronic accounts records• Hold accountable for the daily funds and receivables positions, reporting directly to the board of directors • Exercise control over petty cash and prepare individual and departmental account statements• Ensure regular reconciliation of all sub-ledgers and the general ledger• Validate the accuracy and adherence to Company Procedures and International Accounting Standards in General Ledger entries• Thoroughly check all invoices against Purchase Orders, Market Lists, or valid contracts• Review Monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements for all maintained bank accounts, promptly resolving any discrepancies• Continuously develop and improve procedures within the finance department• Collaborate with external auditors and implement their recommendations as necessary, taking corrective actions where required• Record daily sales transactions in the system & address and resolve any disputes related to sales• Prepare all the financial documents required for VAT filing & file the company's VAT returns on time with the country's Financial Tax authority• Handle WPS (Wage Protection System) or Salary Transfers to various bank • Maintain effective coordination with other departments Show less
