Also drafted and submitted PPA, project FR, financial model, and investment approval to EDM, Mozambique and successfully facilitated all necessary permits and approvals with the Govt. of Mozambique including submission of feasibility reports and transmission integration study.

Instinctively worked in Strategy & Business Development to identify and develop business opportunities involving market scanning and customer interaction, power project bidding, management approvals, final bid presentation, and acquisition opportunities. I served as representative at various government conferences in India and abroad and was responsible for MOU drafting and signing, PPA drafting, review, negotiations, and signing; Project development support, FR preparation, preliminary investigations/tests. Consistently maintained due diligence, valuation, and contract structuring for electricity projects and was in charge of development activities for thermal power projects in India, West and South Africa, Indonesia, and Middle East including submission of letter of intent, bid process from start to finish, and EOI submission. Was also a key stakeholder of strategic plan in the power sector on short, medium, and long-term basis.

In this early role, I provided investment approval activities with Govt. of India and Company's Board for transmission projects. The job had me perform research and studies on investment opportunities, performance, finance, and policy change directly impacting the topline of the company. I prepared and maintained financial models on strategic issues and conducted earning forecasts and short/long range financial planning. In addition, I analysed capital needs for corporate operations and new projects and developed a model for optimal pricing for transmission links to develop power resources in NE region. I also created various presentations, reports, surveys, and summaries for top management and served as a member of the core team for IPO of the company. In addition to serving as visiting faculty to “National Power Training Institute” in India, i conducted various workshops including “Advance Features of Excel” to improve efficiency of the employees at the workplace.
