Working as a research assistant with PhD student Hsiang-Ju (James) Kai in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering as part of the Stingelin Group headed by Professor and Chair of Materials Science and Engineering Dr. Natalie Stingelin. Simultaneously contributing my skills in data analysis for new insights and learning about principles within these engineering fields to help with my aspirations to become a nanomaterials researcher.

Working with Dr. Shane Sanders, a professor of sports analytics and sports economics at Syracuse University, on various sports analytics projects in a wide variety of sports through the span of around 10-12 months. Project #1: Determining average speed differences between F1 and IndyCar racing on common courses.

As a soccer analyst intern for the professional soccer club Orlando City SC, which competes in Major League Soccer, I create data analytical projects and extract insights from datasets to help coaches and tactical analysts form strategies based on conditions, opposition, and other factors.

As a sports data specialist, I perform data gathering, inputting, and proofing tasks that will contribute to the information published on the final charts, which are utilized by many TV analysts in famous sports media companies like ESPN to guide their commentary and analysis throughout the game. As a NFL team expert for the Philadelphia Eagles, I will be keeping up with updates to rosters, depth charts, and injury news on the Eagles and communicate these changes so that charts are changed accordingly.

Works with Dr. Aniket Bhattacharya and Swarnadeep Seth of the UCF Department of Physics on soft condensed matter physics research related to various topics including intrinsically disordered proteins, with the use of the protein modeling and data analysis.So far, the presented research has talked about how intrinsically disordered proteins can be used as insight into various diseases such as Alzheimer's disease. Modeling is utilized to model the intrinsically disordered proteins with different parameters, with the last study focusing on Amyloid Beta's and how individual fragments can help inhibit it to reduce the likelihood of contracting Alzheimer's disease.

Performing the initial part of the research through the Student Science Training Program at the University of Florida during the summer of 2023 (June 11 - July 29). Incorporated some additional research aspects after the program for a small time span.Pursuing research with Dr. Greg Kiker and Dr. Ziynet Boz, along with undergraduate student Riley Orr and SSTP lab partner Emerson Hinson, in the area of food waste modeling through the UF Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering. The study is USDA-funded and uses a concept called agent-based modeling to predict food waste dynamics and outcomes within households and other environments in order to develop a better quantification system for food waste and to effectively create better decisions to reduce waste as it presents itself as a sustainability problem. My individual project is focused on creating a social network metric which describes the interactions between individuals within the household and how their relative strengths and concerns affect each other's food preferences and waste dynamics. Project Name: "Describing household food waste dynamics using a social network within an agent-based model to accurately reflect changes in associated behaviors and output".Received best research paper award as part of UF SSTP 2023.In addition to my research project, I am taking an Honors Seminar class by the name of "Topics in Chemistry" which is mostly focused around organic chemistry concepts during my time at the summer program.
