I’m a senior highway/road design engineer, contributed in the geometric design of major highways, local roads, intersections and interchanges in urban, suburban and rural areas, as well as traffic management projects. Until recently, my main qualifications focused on highway/road preliminary and detailed design. In this role I was focused on design of horizontal and vertical alignment, grading, signing and marking, BOQ calculations and design reporting, In addition to sufficient experience in various traffic management studies. I think my favorite stage of a project is working with the client to understand his objectives. As we go through that collaborative process, the ideas start to flow and that’s always the interesting part. My most exciting work to date was designing tough mountainous roads and striking the appropriate balance between safety and cost.
