Despite the dynamic nature and ever promising trends of Telecoms and my professional progress in this field, there was something overwhelmingly humbling about taking a different career path and ultimately wanting to be satisfied and constantly motivated. Self-realization was an important aspect of where I want to be; it is as much about strategy planning as it is about stumbling and staying in passion. Architectural Design has been a passion of mine since long before I graduated. I have been continually fascinated by the forms and structures of the built environment and was faithfully inspired by architectural and interior spaces, lighting and materials. My curiosity and obsession for Architecture was nurtured overtime and sparked an eagerness to acquire architectural knowledge and learn about the physical and logical aspects of built environments through hands-on investigation, process and design practice.Since Information Technology is influencing a new paradigm in the world of Architecture, there was a clear opportunity where I can capitalize on my communication engineering background and converge Architecture, Engineering and Computer Science in a contemporary specialty—Architectural Technologies. My ambition in the new field of Architectural Technologies is to be able to understand, converse and collaborate with other professionals from Architecture and Engineering-related professions to build a strong adept identity, where the design and selection of appropriate technologies, components and materials is at the forefront.
