New Assiut Combined Cycle Power Plant 1500 Mw Consortium With General Electric

Managed the execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up for New Assiut Combined Power Plant which consists of:Eight (8) CTGs, GE (PG 9171E) duel fired gas turbine generator equipment package with all required balance of plant systems.Two (2) STGs (GE Steam turbine generator equipment package - D200) including all required balance of plant systems.Eight (8) Duel Pressure Doosan HRSGs, including all required balance of plant systems.Two (2) Spig Air Cooled Condensers.Chemical feed systems.Power generated is stepped up through main transformers, and fed to the utility 220 KV grid via an extension to the gas insulated switchgear (GIS) switchyard.Leading the mechanical commissioning team, consists of 15 mechanical commissioning engineers, and more than 50 supervisors and technicians.Performed the commissioning activities of the Steam Turbine Generator (STG) until the first synchronization on 06 June 2018.Prepared the whole plant Commissioning and operating procedures for all BOP systems such as Feed water system, condensate system, closed cooling system and demin. water system .... etc.Finalized the Lube, seal, hydraulic & lifting oil Flushing of two modules within 3 weeks.Finalized the commissioning of hydraulic and lube oil systems within one week.Coordinated and supervised the completion of 8 Doosan HRSGs Chemical Cleaning & Steam Blow.Complete the commissioning and hot cleaning of Air Cooled Condenser (ACC) within only 5 daysFinished the commissioning activities of 8 Braden-Europe B.V. diverter dumper.Identified hundreds of punch items during the pre-commissioning and commissioning walks down and closed them with the construction and QC team.Assists the Project Manager in contacts with Client representatives for the handover of the plant .Ensures the preparation of final reports and certificatesMake sure all systems are designed, installed, tested, & operated according to the operational requirements of the owner or final client
