Working as checker & Civil Structural Designer having good hand on experience in AutoCAD and MicroStation, Telka Structure, SP3D, CadWorx & Frameworks Plus.Experienced designer with sound technical background and strong knowledge of manual and CAD draughting techniques, conversant with codes of practice and standards applicable to draughting functions, conversant with company quality control assurance requirements applicable to draughting functions. Prepare structural drawings from agreed work scopes with minimum input from engineering personnel. Capable of collecting data from site for modification in existing structures and preparation of as built drawings. Key Skills- Capable of managing draughting team.- Checking of drawings/documents prepared by Designers/Draftsmans as per design information, codes and standards.- Coordination with other disciplines in multi-discipline projects.- Preparation of general arrangement drawing and steel detailing of composite and steel structures.- Preparation of fabrication and workshop drawings.- Preparation of foundation drawings for miscellaneous heavy equipments.- Material take-offs (MTO) for construction estimating.- To collect civil scope of work from piping layouts/isometrics for producing civil layouts and all other civil relative detailed drawings.- Structural draughting of RC flyovers / bridges.- Manual and CAD draughting (architectural & structural) of high rise residential and commercial buildings.- Expert in bar bending schedule and material take-off calculations.- Good knowledge of mathematics, geometry & trigonometry.
