Amr E. Rashed is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Engineering Department, Faculty of Computers and Information Technology, at Taif University, KSA. He received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at Mansoura University in 2005, 2010, and 2021, respectively. He has served as a MATLAB and FPGA/VHDL instructor at JELECOMM Egypt, EGYCET, and New Horizon. Afterward, he began working as a PHP web developer at Taif University.His current research interests include bioinformatics, sequence alignment, signal processing, computer vision, hardware implementation using FPGA/VHDL, optimization techniques, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning.
