Over 20 years of experience in real estate development and management of large scale residential, hospitality and mixed-use projects in Egypt, Europe, U.A.E., Caribbean, Greece, Cyprus and Pakistan.I am currently the Group Chief Technical Officer with Orascom Development Holding (ODH). ODH creates destinations and builds vibrant communities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.Previously, I held the position of Chief Operating Officer with ORA Developers Holding (Gemini Real Estate. Group) where I was responsible for establishing the group’s subsidiaries in Egypt, Asia, Europe, and the Caribbean, handling several functions like development, sales, marketing, procurement, execution, and delivery of signature global developments. I joined the ORA group in 2017 as the Group Chief Technical Officer. I joined SODIC in 2010 where I started in the project controls department as the Contracts Manager for the company, then was promoted to head the controls department. In 2017, I was responsible for the technical department managing design, construction and project controls with over 300 employees in the department.I also worked in the UAE (Dubai) in Contracts Administration with M/s Nakheel and in Claims Management as a Claims Consultant with M/s Hill International Claims Group where I was responsible for contract preparation and administration & preparing claims for contractors including analyzing the delay events, preparing narratives and calculating the costs associated with the delays. In addition I was involved in analyzing claims for developers. In addition to my experience with the claims team at the Palm Jumeirah Villas Project as a Claims Analyst to analyze settle and resolve the claims submitted by the contractors.Moreover, my project management experience extended from being a Project Engineer for Talaat Mostafa Group in Egypt until I joined Hill International in 2006 as a Package Manager for the CPI (Client Procured items) at the Palm Jumeirah Villas Project.My experience also extends beyond the property development and construction to the industrial field as I successfully managed industrial projects and exported cement equipment, fertilizer equipment and car painting lines to USA and Africa .
