I am a consultant of psychiatry with a long experience in the field of psychiatry extending for about twenty years. I have worked in different positions starting as a trainee resident of psychiatry in EL-Minia University Hospital, Egypt, and promoted until I became an assistant professor of psychiatry in the same university. I finished my Master’s followed by MD in psychiatry, I published several research papers related to psychiatric disorders and supervised several others. My main interest in the field of psychiatry is in psychodynamic psychotherapy for which I was trained during my basic psychiatric training, both in individual and group psychotherapy. I am also involved in the teaching process that take place in my university, for under and post graduate students. I am looking forward to continue my career as a psychiatrist helping others and providing high standard psychiatric treatment. I also look forward to continue my academic career through publishing additional research and contributing to the ongoing development in the field of psychiatry.
