Bioengineer working in the aging and longevity tech space. I'm currently involved in multiple projects: from elucidating basic mechanisms of cellular aging, to large-scale cohort studies identifying drivers of aging in the Indian population. My interdisciplinary training enables me to comfortably leverage both computational and experimental approaches to address research questions.More specifically, my research interests include understanding how mitochondrial interactions modulate cell fate decision-making in cellular aging (senescence), cancer, and neurodegeneration. Apart from a career in academic research, I am also interested in the development of therapeutics for improving healthspan, and actively engaging with the longevity biotech community.I am skilled in high throughput experimental techniques like flow cytometry, omics and their data analysis, with considerable academic and industrial experience in elucidating biological mechanisms from big data.
