Duties & Responsibilities • Developing and implementing , in consultation with the general manager or management team, business strategies, organizational goals, procedures, and policies. • Maintaining positive client relationships and driving new acquisitions. • Identifying improvement gaps and implementing corrective measures. • Overseeing and approval of contracts, with special focus on international & foreign company agreements, in consultation with the general manager/management team. • Provide consultation to customers on Customs clearance, government regulations, changes in regulations, transportation, bonding/insurance requirements and general industry expertise. • Maintain current knowledge of relevant legislation, political situations and other factors that could • Negotiate contracts with international partners, customers and clients. • Arrange payment and other charges or collection of payment on behalf of the client. • Ensure that all section members are providing a high level of customer service to both internal and • external customers. • Oversee and manage the professional development and productivity of staff members to ensure • proper goals, training, professional development and project requirements are met. • Carry out staff performance reviews in line with the company’s procedures. • Carry out inductions or training of new personnel.
