Current• Aligning purchasing activities with company procedures and strategy, ensuring optimal procurement.• Receiving and processing purchase requisitions from various divisions, ensuring fulfillment of orders.• Securing competitive pricing by negotiation with suppliers, cost reduction of 4% from BDT 1 crore.• Overseeing relationships with 5 cement companies, ensuring consistent and reliable cement supply.• Coordinating rod collection from 5-6 vendors, ensuring a steady supply of construction materials.• Managing a team of 3 members, providing guidance and support to ensure departmental goals.• Managing relationships with 5-10 vendors for various procurement categories.• Cultivating strong relationships with vendors, and ensuring reliable supply chain partnerships.• Researching vendors to compare services, selecting suppliers based on quality, timeliness, and price.• Ensuring the quality of procured items, addressing any issues promptly to maintain operation.• Collaborating with colleagues to monitor inventory levels and determine supply needs, optimizing inventory turnover and minimizing shortages.• Procuring a wide range of civil materials including bricks, sand, stone chips, rod, cement, paint, switches, sockets, doors, water tanks, tiles, and safety materials.• Procuring health, safety, and environment materials compliant with BREB standards.• Implementing initiatives to improve efficiency, and reduce costs, contributing to overall profitability.
