I worked in the Office of Fair Trade focusing on consumer protection through prevention of anti-competitive practices and deceptive marketing. I handled complaints pertaining to deceptive marketing, conducting investigations and inquiries. I also drafted technical documents such as legal notices, inquiry reports and press releases, frequently preparing orders of the CCP. I engaged in advocacy with multinationals and consumer groups to promote compliance with the Competition law.

I worked with the Corporate Social Responsibility Team (CSR) devising effective CSR strategies through research, preparing cost and benefit analyses and assisting to prepare presentations for proposed sponsor activities.

Prior to its acquisition by Standard Chartered Bank, I interned with Union Bank Ltd's (Pakistan) Customer Services Department dealing with customer queries / complaints, opening accounts and updating client information reports.
