As a public institution with a special responsibility to productively engage the public, the Manager of Community Relations assists in the development and management of an overall strategic Community Relations Plan for UC Irvine to help the community recognize and leverage the value impact of the campus on its wellbeing.Responsibilities include raising the awareness of UCI as well as discovering and overseeing partnerships between the University, its departments and the community. This position manages, and works to increase, trusting relationships with the region's educators, nonprofits, businesses, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), opinion leaders, students and families to raise awareness about UCI. The role also demonstrates how these communities can connect with the university to utilize UCI's vast resources. The Manager of Community Relations represents UCI at civic meetings and community events and develops integrated partnership opportunities for the campus to add value to our community's future.

The OC Forum is the premier nonpartisan current affairs organization convening the Orange County community in an interactive environment, to foster relationships, exchange ideas and discuss public policy issues with the most knowledgeable and distinguished speakers and leaders of our time.​Distinguished speakers, members, local community and the world see the OC Forum as the “go-to” place which fosters maximum diversity in presenters, membership, and audience. Speakers know they will reach a diverse and engaged audience. The audience knows it will hear speakers who are knowledgeable, relevant leaders in their fields.The OC Forum offers opportunities to learn and better understand critical issues from the people who are making critical choices. Luncheon program events are offered at least once a month. Each luncheon program includes an often spirited question and answer exchange between the guest speakers and attendees.

Is responsible for conveying clients' internal and/or external messages; including drafting written materials that effectively describe and promote the various organizations. Performs a variety of tasks, such as the creation and development of print and online pieces, email marketing, web site management and content development, press releases, marketing collateral, and marketing budget development. ASI Spring Concert is Cal State Fullerton's prominent annual musical production, made possible by ASI and ASI Productions. It is an annual end of the year concert that has been set up by students for the students. The event is coordinated by ASI Productions and prides itself on providing industry-leading talent. In previous years, Spring Concert has taken place within our grand Titan Stadium, and this year it took place on the Intramural Fields, transitioning the concert into a festival atmosphere where together, we will find our next adventure.Responsible for communicating to the Daily Titan, ASI Marketing, & other media outlets as well as creating and sharing ideas about how to generate publicity prior to the event. Assisted in the planning and execution of different social media outreach programs in order to create a buzz and spread awareness of the event. On the day of the event, acted as Media Relations and tended to the needs of different media members.

As president, I chaired executive board meetings; strategized and set priorities; and coordinated and promoted the activities of the Council. I also served as the official representative and spokesperson for the Panhellenic Council at a multitude of special events and on and off campus meetings with CSUF faculty, Greek Life coordinators, students and the local community. Similarly, my board and I successfully planned and advertised community outreach events, including fundraising efforts for sorority scholarships and organizing volunteer opportunities. Working with the VP PR, we prepared press releases for inclusion in the Daily Titan on campus newspaper and worked with the Vice President of Public Relations to create social media campaigns for a variety of Panhellenic events.
