The curriculum covers such topics as professionalism/workplace etiquette, preparing for college, career exploration (especially related to health & medical careers), identity development, and financial literacy. COVID-19 conditions permitting, Pathways courses also include guest speakers, field trips, and individual job shadowing/internship experiences, which are coordinated by the Middle College Liaison.Instructors will be responsible for delivering Pathways course content to Middle College at UNCG students (high school Sophomores/Seniors in fall; Freshmen/Juniors in spring). The curriculum is available electronically, and Instructors work together and with the Middle College Liaison to design and assess assignments and class activities.In addition, Instructors may accompany students to and from Pathways field trips and job shadowing approximately once a week. Transportation is provided via Guilford County school buses. Some Instructors may also help supervise students during Health/PE courses taught by other UNCG Instructors. Show less
