I joined Medserve in January 2012 in the newly re-organised team. The team manages contracts for a number of high profile NHS Trusts, Councils, Private Hospitals and Care Homes in Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Somerset, Devon, Newport, Bath & North East Somerset and Wiltshire offering a wide range of services including servicing & maintenance, rental and decontamination as well as distributing a wide range of medical, mobility and healthcare products. I have a wealth of experience within the Healthcare Sector working closely in conjunction with our legal, financial, marketing and operations team, responsible for planning and implementing department strategies and take part in the overall strategic decisions to ensure that that all departments are working in accordance with such goals.With over 10 years in business development, project management, contract implementation and marketing I bring with me a wealth of customer focused experience to the role. With a remit to meet our customers on a regular basis to ensure that all parties are satisfied with our services, I am ideally placed to bring a fresh and reinvigorated focus to customer service, day-to-day account management and delivering value to contracts.

I started my career in the waste industry back in 2001; roles included Service Supervisor, Project Manager, Sales Manager & Director, most of which I have been promoted within. My main achievement was successfully setting up, building and managing a Clinical Waste organisation in the South West of England. Taking responsibility to oversee the £250,000 refurbishment of the business premises through planning, waste permitting, installation of an AT Plant and validation. I reviewed key performance indicators, procedures and policies resulting in a greater focus on business results. With a large number of NHS & Council contracts the business was successfully sold in 2006, this role enabled me to apply a similar approach to future roles in driving a business forward.
