About Amy Agnew

Experienced campaigner and advocate of international development, human rights and environmental issues. I cut my teeth at Amnesty International's International Secretariat, living and working in Zimbabwe and Uganda, before moving to Save the Children UK and on to Global Citizen. I led Global Citizen's Country and Regional Offices in Africa, Europe, Canada and Australia, building some of these offices from scratch. After 7 years of incredible advocacy and impactful events at GC, I started my own consultancy in May 2022. I am now working with NGOs, activists, philanthropists and businesses on strategy, operations, campaigns and advocacy. I sit on the Board of two grant giving organisations, and sit on or chair a number of committees including finance, nominations and grant giving. I have 3 kids, I run regularly - slowly and not very far (find me on Strava), and I spend at a lot of time in Dumfries in the Garden of Cosmic Speculation with my family.
