I made the move to Regent Street to challenge my abilities in a fast paced, high standard environment. Being in the Global Flagship has enabled me to work amongst sales representatives and management of the highest possible standard which only bettered my ability and understanding of the business. Being in a larger team, with bigger personalities has meant I have had more exposure to coaching, leadership practices, HR processes and Team Development. Working together with the leadership team to strategise store success and review this on a regular basis. Alongside Team Lead in Regent, I have been selected to be part of the Training Network. A network of 5 leaders from around the business, chosen to work alongside our Global Training Content Manager to create the best training platform possible for our teams.

I was selected to make the move to our White City Store. A store which had many areas for improvement. Others and I were handpicked to form a new leadership team, with the goal to turn the store around. During my time here, we saw a considerable lift in sales despite the smaller lift in traffic due to the pandemic. Here, I had far more exposure to operational practices and from this I now understand the importance of operational excellence. (HR Processes, Budgets, Recruitment and team development)

Following the Pandemic and the switch to a more virtually focussed retail industry, Mulberry created new roles that were more experience focussed. Team Lead has enabled me to focus on appointment culture and nurturing client relationships in store. This sees clients returning for the experience they received as well as the high standard of products purchased.

As Supervisor I had more involvement with driving performance through training and empowering the team to hit and exceed budgets. In March/April 2020 I was selected to be a training facilitator in our Kensington Head Office for all new starters within the company as part of the induction process. Due to Covid and social distancing measures within head office, the training days could no longer go ahead and so I was unable to embrace this role.
