Amy Andrews is a Montana native from Belgrade, MT. She attended Montana State University and graduated with honors with a BS in Chemical Engineering in 2016.As a hydrogen process engineer at bp, Amy works on low-carbon hydrogen projects on a global scale. She has helped electrolysis tech startups progress over $50 million in investments to date and has provided specialist expertise on some of the world’s largest proposed green hydrogen plants. Prior to her current assignment, she has held multiple technical and commercial roles in refining. A Forbes 30 Under 30 recipient, Amy is committed to helping people solve the world's most complex energy challenges.Amy is also passionate about mentorship and education. At bp, Amy is co-lead of the Women’s Network at Cherry Point Refinery and is a member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). She has served as a Senior Design mentor at MSU and routinely returns to guest lecture on topics such as carbon abatement, process safety, and energy optimization. Outside of her career, Amy enjoys skiing, backpacking, traveling and has recently become a mom! She enjoys spending time with her husband, Quinn and daughter, Eleanor while enjoying the outdoors in the Pacific Northwest.
