At bp, Amy is co-lead of the Women’s Network at Cherry Point Refinery and is a member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). She has served as a Senior Design mentor at MSU and routinely returns to guest lecture on topics such as carbon abatement, process safety, and energy optimization. Outside of her career, Amy enjoys skiing, backpacking, traveling and has recently become a mom! She enjoys spending time with her husband, Quinn and daughter, Eleanor while enjoying the outdoors in the Pacific Northwest.

In this role I also played a part in building capability within bp in the areas of process engineering and low carbon H2 through coaching, mentoring, and training to share and build technical expertise. In this role I have helped to progress over $50 million in low-carbon investments, have participated in an SOEC consortium with other industry participants, and developed a solution to recover low-purity H2 from a bp refining site that saved over $130 million while reducing the project's carbon impact. I've aimed to prioritize learning and mentorship as well- serving as an industry sponsor for 3 Senior Design teams at my Alma Mater and hosting "Electrolyzer 101" workshops internally at bp. -
