Creative - Collaborative - Motivated - Intuitive Driven by my background in art history and love of learning through connecting with people, my passion is supporting arts and culture organizations in my community of Tulsa, Oklahoma.At Philbrook Museum of Art, I foster collaboration (and keep production schedules on track!) as External Affairs Project Coordinator. As a cross-functional project manager, I serve as the bridge between departments, aligning our individual tasks and timelines into cohesive road maps. In my position as Marketing Director at Heather James Fine Art, I coordinated digital marketing and content creation, building the Marketing team from the ground up. Under my leadership, the team grew from a small two-person email marketing operation to a production team of seven people creating compelling and enriching media showcasing jaw-dropping artwork, from Monet to Picasso to Warhol. While completing my Master’s degree at the University of Texas at Austin, I traveled to archaeological sites in Italy, Bulgaria, and Turkey to present and discuss research with fellow students. One of the more formative experiences of my graduate work was my role as organizing committee chair for the 2017 UT Antiquities Action Symposium, "Landscapes of Identity: Global and Local Models for Heritage Preservation." Prior to my graduate studies, I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in Museum Studies from John Brown University, where I served as 2013-2014 Director of Communications for the Honors Scholars Program, and then spent a year working at the Art Institute of Chicago in the Department of Visitor Services.
