In my role as Chief of Humanitarian Services at the Canadian Red Cross, I am committed to leading initiatives that not only provide immediate relief but also foster long-term recovery and growth. My journey with the Red Cross has been fueled by a passion for helping others and a belief that we can make the world a better place, one response at a time. With a background in law and risk management, I have been privileged to serve in various capacities within the organization, from General Counsel to my current role where I oversee a wide range of Emergency Management programming - domestically and internationally. My experience has taught me that effective leadership is about more than just managing crises—it's about supporting teams, empowering communities, and ensuring that our actions today lay the groundwork for a stronger tomorrow. Throughout my career, I've had the honor of securing partnerships to expand our humanitarian reach, but what truly drives me is seeing the impact of our work on the ground. It's about the people we serve and the incredible teams who make it all possible.
