About Amy Baack

Hi! I am a Yoga + Meditation teacher in San Diego. I am the CEO and creator of Mind Body Badass, which offers public and private Yoga, Meditation, and Sound Healing online and throughout Southern California. We specialize in hosting yoga class experiences for events, retreats, corporate classes, and birthday/bachelorette parties. My fitness writing work has been featured on Bustle and The Huffington Post, and my LLC Mind Body Badass has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and Los Angeles Times. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Cinema & Television Production from the University of Southern California and worked in television for about five years as an assistant writer on such well-known shows as The Vampire Diaries and Mad Men.I left the television industry in 2014 when I developed a neck injury and moved to San Diego to focus on healing. I became a full-time yoga and fitness instructor to learn how to fix myself. I eventually succeeded in healing and fell in love with all things wellness. I have been teaching since 2012, and built my own wellness blog and brand Mind Body Badass to help you heal and become your most badass self.I bring that same enthusiasm to my creative outlet, working in social media. My writing contains a strong, unique voice with equal parts wit and warmth.
