Cooperative Work Experience Education (CWEE) subject matter expert. Teaching all sections of general and occupational work experience on the West Hills College Lemoore Campus. Courses focus on writing student learning objectives for their job, internship or volunteer opportunity, encouraging student focused career discussions, learning and applying important soft skills, encouraging student self-assessment, and teaching students to utilize instructor and supervisor feedback to improve workplace skills.Responsible for program growth, rewriting course assignments, compliance with program specific requirements outlined in Title 5, assessing student learning outcomes, reviewing program curriculum, creation of the Eagle Closet: Dress for Success, and coordinator of an annual networking event called Entree to Employment.Additional faculty member duties include but are not limited to, CTE Academic Senator, Technology Committee, Career Readiness Team, CTE Advisory Committee, and Secretary of the Board of Directors for CA Internship and Work Experience Association.
