Overview: Develop and execute vision of EL’s systemic impact strategy, including a roadmap that is tied to partner needs and EL business strategy. Partner with senior leadership team to collaborate on EL’s long term strategic plan. Drive organization change through best practices, systems, and process improvements.Provide Ongoing Management of District/Systems Partnership Offerings-Create district partnership strategy to meet business needs of the strategic and annual plans; -Partner with Program Team to bring field perspective to define strategic goals for program offerings to serve district/systemic impact needs. -Oversee teams who customize and innovate on offerings to meet unique needs of partners. Business Development and Relationship management- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with national, state and district leaders (Chief Academic Officers, Superintendents, Commissioners, School boards etc.) and other national influencers and decision-makers-Negotiate partnerships and contracts with large systems- Build a long term pipeline of potential system and/or district-level partners.- Grow and maintain an annual portfolio of system-level partnersOversee 3rd party certification program for outside professional services providers.-Contribute to strategy and business model for overall work with external organizations and plans to collaborate on district and systemic work.- Represent EL, its mission, and portfolio of services to partners and external audiences.Fiscal Management-Partner with the Finance team to determine pricing and forecast revenues/expenses.-Partner with development teams to develop strategic approach to fundraising -Serve as grant budget owner for specific grant-funded initiatives-Manage and monitor budgets for district offerings and contracts-Determine staffing and contractor needs to meet partner and pipeline needs.

The Senior Director builds systems and structures to support curriculum implementation across all types of EL Education partnerships The role is designed to drive impact with schools and districts that utilize EL Education’s curricula while also supporting the collection and dissemination of organizational knowledge to build consistency of practice across coaches. The Senior Director oversees a growing team of curriculum specialists, coaches and consultants. This team manages complex inquiries from prospective partners, leads curriculum implementation partnerships, delivers presentations and professional development at national events and conferences and support curriculum adoption processes with districts.
