I am a BPS Chartered and HPC Registered Senior Forensic Psychologist working in a Medium Secure Unit with service users who have a mental disorder and have offending or challenging behaviour. I have previously worked with service users with a primary diagnosis of Personality Disorder within the DSPD project at Broadmoor Hospital. I have delivered structured offending behaviour programmes in a prison environment. I carry out assessments of personality (inc. Psychopathy), risk, malingering, cognitive functioning and treatment needs. I have delivered structured treatment programmes for the treatment of Sex Offending, Violence and Unhealthy Relationships. I have completed training in and deliver treatment using DBT, CBT, Schema and Group Analytic models. I work as a trainer for the Institute of Psychiatry (IOP) in how to use the HCR-20 violence risk assessment tool. I have completed an expert witness role for the defence.I have published the following papers; -
