As the Regional Recruiting Manager for Kaplan Higher Education Campuses, I was responsible for recruiting top talent for our campus leadership roles including: Campus Presidents, Directors of Education, Directors of Finance/Financial Aid, Directors of Admissions, and Directors of Career Services. I also partnered with our campuses across the country to help them strategize recruiting efforts within their local markets. Additionally, I successfully developed and delivered a robust training to the 200+ hiring managers on our ATS (BrassRing).I worked with an incredible team of passionate and dynamic business leaders that are changing the landscape of the higher education industry and ultimately providing students with the skills they need in order to launch careers in some of today's most high-demand fields.

I started with the Kaplan organization called SCORE! Educational Centers as a Field Recruiter, and then was promoted to Recruiting Manager. During my time with SCORE!, I was responsible for the following:- Managed all full life-cycle recruiting for entry, mid, and senior-level management positions on the East Coast (includes VA, MD, DC, NJ, NY, CT & MA).- Supervised and developed East Coast Recruiting Team.- Responsible for full life-cycle recruiting: marketing and branding positions; generating and screening resumes; interviewing candidates in multi-step process; coordinating interviews with Hiring Managers; negotiating and delivering final job offers to qualified candidates. - Advanced the company’s brand, generated interest and drove additional applicants to SCORE! by utilizing a variety of avenues such as networking, building referrals, and internet sourcing.- Developed strategic networking relationships with other retailers, campus career centers and student groups, as well as utilized social networking sites (such as Facebook, LinkedIn, etc) to expand candidate pipeline.- Developed, tested, and recommended new sourcing strategies to national recruiting team.- Conducted daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly data analysis for all areas.

As an Account Manager, I was responsible for: identifying new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and prospecting; developing key partnerships with client hiring managers to identify and fulfill their staffing requirements; and managing a team of recruiters on day-to-day functions and developed sourcing strategies to ensure their success.

I started my career in the Recruiting/Staffing industry with Mentor 4, which is now the Professional Services division of Aerotek. As a Recruiter, I was responsible for:  Sourcing, screening, and selection of candidates for mid-to-large sized call centers in the Chicagoland area. Recruited a high volume of customer service and sales professionals for Fortune 500 companies utilizing Internet resources, direct sourcing, job fairs and personal contacts as hiring tools. Maintained daily relationships with client managers of key Chicagoland accounts to ensure satisfaction. Developed and led seminars for peers on creative and proactive recruiting. Worked with sales management teams in breaking and saturating key accounts. Performed reference verifications, background checks and pre-employment drug screens for all hired candidates.
