To Hiring Professional,My name is Amy Beckstead and I am a 17 year veteran of Residential Appraising. I started my career selling Real Estate Investing programs. During this time, I learned about Residential Appraising opportunities and quickly signed up for the course to become an Appraiser. I completed my training in 2005 and started as an Intern for the Utah County Assessor's Office. At the Assessor's Office, I learned about Mass Appraising, Board of Equalization, mastered the skill of measuring homes, and earned my Certified Residential Appraisal License. I then took a risk to transition into fee appraising and have been very successful since 2009 completing appraisals for a variety of residential properties including Single Family Residential, Condo, Town-Home, Duplex, Tri-Plex, 4-Plex, Vacant Land, Manufactured Homes, REO, and complex High-End properties. I have trained 4 Appraiser Trainee's, most of which have become Licensed/Certified Appraiser's. I am proficient in Cost Approach, Sales Comparison Approach, and Income Approaches to value. I currently use Total-Appraisal Software. I have renovated 5 homes for profit. All of which made a 100%+ return on renovation investment. I have taken several courses in wholesale, creative financing, and real estate related topics. I have an excellent understanding of the complex aspects of valuing property and broad knowledge of Real Estate in general.
