From my early days on the high school newspaper and poetry club, to my my half decade teaching writing to high schoolers, up through the communication plans and news stories I wrote at Coca-Cola, a passion for writing has been a major through-line of my life. Writing can unite us, or keep us divided. It can move us, and inspire us to create real change. Writing is more than just words strung together - it is a careful message, a thoughtful allegory. When done well, writing can shape action. I've written for Coca-Cola, Georgia Audubon, Canine Cellmates, and for small business owners. At this point in my career, I am excited to begin my own business, focusing on brand journalism and content creation.
