An avid hunter and angler, I was an outdoor writer for the newspaper's Sunday outdoor page.I began my work chronicling Kansas "Dead Towns" at The News in 2010 - a project I have continued personally. Some of my work has been published in the book "Dead Towns of Central and Western Kansas." -
