I am a graduate of Bachelor of Health Science, studying rehabilitation majoring in addiction, minoring in nutrition.  I have gained excellent knowledge through this degree and have developed skills involving health professionalism and promotion of health.  This qualification included learning of health practice and professionalism, exercise, nutrition, psychology, counselling skills and health concepts including injury, illness, disease. I have worked in industries including health and medical and gained experience on dealing with clients and customers in my professional career. I have also aspired to volunteer for a number of organisations in order to gain new work environments and gather a variety of experiences.My role as a supervisor has enabled me to build excellent working relationships as I have been a valued employee for a number of years. This position allowed me to manage conflicts with dissatisfied customers, and gain the ability to influence junior staff who took guidance, training and direction from me.My position as an administration assistant the medical centre has allowed me to learn about medical general practice, allied health and outpatient clinicians. This role as administrator has provided effective communication skills including written, verbal and technological. I began my tertiary studies at Curtin university and realised how interested I am about the intricacies of the human body, including reaction to exercise, nutrients and the brain’s reactions to substances. It was for this reason that I transferred from Curtin’s sports, exercise and rehabilitation science to ECU’s Health Science. I am comfortable working with people of all ages due to my work experience. I have developed skills which have given me the ability to have excellent understanding with a non-judgmental approach. I feel confident dealing with people from a variety of backgrounds and socio-economic status’. I am a caring person who will ensure all tasks required are completed dutifully. I am a quick and thorough learner and feel confident of my capability. I am also computer literate due to my studies at university via assignment research and work experience. I feel confident within a team environment and feel assured that once trained in any position I will strive forward in that role.
