Supervised children ages 3-5 years of age. Observations were made and recorded to show progress of each child in my primary care. Attended trainings in various fields of study to remain up to date in early childhood standards.Created and carried out lesson plans that meet the PA State Learning Standards, as well as meet the interests of children in the classroom. Activities ranged from gross motor and fine motor skills strengthening, social skills training, creating situations for learning independence, introducing new information in regards to math, science, and literature in an engaging manner in order to hold the interests of students.Coordinated with Co-Teacher to problem solve on situations in the classroom concerning behaviors, classroom layout, and educational weaknesses. Communicated with parents to find solutions for behaviors, inform about injuries, and encourage program activities.

Excelled at speaking with parents about their children’s growth based on my observations and training in the field of early childhood education. Established myself as a person of authority, fellow teachers came to me when the Director and her Assistant Director were not present. Through these interactions, developed strong working relationships.

Facilitated the treatment for clients as described in their treatment plan; communicated interventions to the parent or teacher so they can learn to teach the clients, to strengthen the relationship between parent or teacher and client. Clients had Autism and social emotional behaviors.Received a promotion to full time status and “Star of the Month” award due to above average job performance.

Answered phone calls, took messages, typed weekly and monthly newsletters and council meeting minutes, updated and maintained church records of births, deaths, marriages, and member contact information.Learned to maintain a clean and professional environment so that the office would run smoothly. Trained new Secretary when she was hired. This position was temporary due to personal membership to the church.
